Job Description



Reporting to the General Manager of Andritz Feed & Biofuel you will coordinate the sales efforts to the commercial, integrated and other Feed industries with a primary focus in Canada with possibility to extend into the USA.



  • Develop, cultivate, track, report and pursue capital equipment sales in the Feed and related industries primarily in Canada for Andritz Feed & Biofuel.
  • Direct interface with customer account corporate offices, engineering offices, Andritz area field salesmen and mill/plant managers.
  • Develop and lead sales presentations and manage negotiations.
  • Contribute to marketing plan to achieve budget order intake involving trade shows, association meetings, advertising, literature, and product development.
  • Develop and maintain capital order “hotlist” covering outstanding proposals as well as comply with Andritz CRM program requirements.
  • Defining and setting yearly sales targets and budgets.
  • Coordinate application equipment sizing and proposal process and direct customer follow-up in cooperation with the Muncy office and Territory Managers.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales with customers that meet Andritz requirements.
  • Develop key account strategies to assure competitive position and maximize order intake.
  • Monitor industry and competitive trends.
  • Interface with order execution and engineering personnel for transfer of new equipment orders.
  • Responsible for sales/equipment presentations at association/trade venues.
  • Responsible for training of Territory Managers and other personnel as needed.
  • Developing and building customer relationships.
  • Working with USA Feed Capital Sales Manager and guiding Territory Managers in management of Feed related opportunities as required.
  • Position requires approximately 50% travel.




  • Creation of opportunities and recording of customer visits/interactions in Andritz Customer relationship management tool (webCRM) according to requirements defined by Andritz F&B management and/or NA General Manager/Regional Manager
  • Competent to use Concur to book travel and complete expense reports on a timely basis.
  • Special projects as required;
  • Perform all other duties as required by the Management Staff





Job Requirements



  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Ag or Feed Science or equivalent combination of a related discipline and experience;
  • Experience selling Capital Equipment and solutions >$100k in project value (required)
  • Experience selling pellet and or hammer mills (desired)
  • Must be computer literate using Microsoft Office package, as well as familiarity with other office suites / databases including webCRM;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language and grammar;
  • Good knowledge of the French Canadian language and grammar (both spoken and written)
  • Ability to travel on business to the USA
  • Knowledge of the Andritz organization and procedures helpful;
  • General willingness to continuously learn and improve;
