Job Description

Our office in Richmond, BC, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide full-time, temporary relief to our team of engineers and technologists. This is a term position that would be expected to end on December 31, 2018.

Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Operating a multi-line switchboard and directing calls throughout the office
  • Greeting visitors and announcing them to appropriate personnel
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the office common areas
  • Delivering and distributing incoming mail and couriers; processing of outgoing mail
  • Preparation of documents for transmittal and distribution, including photocopying, binding, and collating
  • Travel arrangements
  • Assisting with accounts payable activities such as expense reports and filing
  • Ordering office supplies and stationary and maintaining office equipment
  • Meeting/catering arrangements
  • Other general tasks as assigned


Job Requirements

This position requires a person with a professional and friendly telephone manner and excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of MS Office products required (Word, Excel, Outlook). Salary commensurate with experience.
