Job Description

Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:


o   Manages short and mid-term operations for ANDRITZ Nonwovens activities in NAFTA, in accordance with the strategies & targets fixed by KNW Division Manager and KNW VPs (Sales, Operations, Services, Technology, Finance)

o   In collaboration with Spartanburg Controller and Spartanburg Site Manager: Prepares the budget and his responsible for the P&L of KNW Service activities, as well as Capital Order Intake in NAFTA.

o   Ensures ANDRITZ rules are applied through all KNW activities and representatives in NAFTA: safety, global compliance, HR…

o   Management of the organization: has authority to coordinate and develop KNW resources located in Spartanburg for Capital Sales, Service Sales, and Field Services, in collaboration with HR in Alpharetta for hiring, training, promotion, HSE…

o   Federates all local KNW teams around NAFTA strategy and KNW Division action plans for the development of its activities. A strong leadership and permanent exchanges with local teams and KNW European Management is necessary, maintaining a Team spirit and Harmony between local teams and KNW Center of Competences in Europe.

o   Represents ANDRITZ and KNW Division during Regional, National and International events (meetings, exhibitions, associations…)

o   Ensures Market intelligence of NAFTA market for KNW Division in collaboration with KNW Sales and Service organizations: short term and mid-term market opportunities, trends, collaborations, competition…

o   Coordinates Capital and Service Sales activities for KNW in NAFTA, in collaboration with the Divisional VPs and Sales Directors. To this extent, defines and supports local teams for adapting daily Sales strategy with existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts, i.e. by planning and organizing work schedule to existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

o   Keeps KNW management informed by reporting activity and results in Collaboration with Spartanburg Controller.

o   Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets to develop KNW NAFTA activity.

o   Is directly in charge and/or jointly supports its Sales teams for presentations, proposals and sales contracts.

o   Identifies and resolves client concerns.

o   Communicates new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback from KNW Division within NAFTA territories and organization.

o   Work requires significant travel to current and potential clients.

o   Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

Job Requirements

  • Leading of a global organisation
  • Defining and supporting sales strategy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Sales oriented attitude, with good oral and written communication skills. Project and/or Service experience appreciated
  • Established network and knowledge of Nonwoven industry: markets, technologies, processes, associations, value chain
  • Knowledge in Finance: P&L, Reporting, Budgeting
  • Sales approach sensitivity + must speak English
  • Process knowledge to define the scope for system supply (textile understanding)
  • Be able to present the product (technique/technology) and to convince the customer of the product benefits.
  • International contract negotiation knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum five years of B2B Sales or Business Management experience in multi-cultural environment (Europe/NAFTA)
