Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Installation Supervisor to join us. The incumbent will be based at one of our work sites in Canada.

 



PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES

 

  • Preparing/assembling technical documents and planning technical execution
  • Promoting and safeguarding the interests of ANDRITZ Hydro on site

 



PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Prepare and assemble technical documents for the upcoming work in line with planned execution schedule;
  • Collaborate with health and safety advisors to ensure that safe work procedures are in place and reviewed as necessary;
  • Request and review lift plans;
  • Coordinate with the Material Manager and/or Foreman to have required equipment for work completion confirmed;
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Lead to identify required measurement instruments;
  • Prepare detailed work methods and instructions as needed;
  • Coordinate with site team to ensure task readiness;
  • Review interfaces with work scope by others in order to avoid interferences in the workplace;
  • Review the requirements from other scopes of work and follow up to ensure there is no delay caused by systems not supplied in time;
  • Own, manage, maintain, follow-up and ensure completion of the punch list items with site team.

Job Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or other related degree;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of technical planning experience on a work site;
  • Knowledge of hydro industry;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent problem solving skills, sound judgment, initiative & creativity.

* Legal status to work in Canada is required.
