Job Description

Qualifications:  

•       1-2 years’ experience as a support technician.

•       Should have an Associate’s degree in the field of computer science or computer information systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•       Proficient with Microsoft Office 2010

•       Basic experience with Microsoft SCCM.

•       Excellent verbal and written skills.

•       Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

•       Proven problem-solving abilities.

•       Ability to work in a team environment both locally and virtually.

•       Good communication skills

•       Proficient with mobile devices (iPhones & Windows Phones)

•       Experience supporting PLM software like Siemens Teamcenter and NX

•       Basic knowledge of Dell PowerVault storage and VMWare/vCenter environment

 

Job Requirements

Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:

•       Use Microsoft SCCM as a tool for user client setup, asset monitoring, software deployments, etc.

•       Use of Help Desk Application to track and monitor user needs.

•       Installation and license management of Siemens Teamcenter and NX

•       Setup of new hardware and software.

•       Ability to lift 50 lbs.

•       Specifying and Ordering of new hardware and software.

•       Phone support to local users, remote users from other offices, and home based employees.

•       Supporting MS Office applications, Windows applications, and other software.

•       Promote the Andritz standards in regards to hardware and software use.

•       Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines with little supervision.

•       Perform other tasks that may be required.

•       Hours are fixed at 8AM-5PM.

•       Travel requirement will be minimal, but occasional travel could be required.

•       Occasional after hours, weekend, and on call duties may be required.
