Job Description


Perform any and all duties required to receive, store, pull, issue, transport, and ship purchased or manufactured products. Fully utilize the company’s SAP computer system to complete all associated transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Responsibilities include but are not limited to):

Shipping responsibilities: Package and secure products for shipments include tagging, labeling, marking, checking product and supporting integrity of shipment transactions; building crates and wooden boxes in accordance with International and Domestic shipping requirements; follow procedures to properly ship via designated transport companies; maintain on-time shipments according to required dates.

Regarding received Purchased items, responsibilities include: Visual inspection of all packages and contents for damage; audit of each package and packing list to insure the match up of purchase order quantity and description; receive incoming materials into inventory using SAP system; identify any open requirements and move materials to proper location within the Warehouse.

Regarding received Manufactured items, responsibilities include: Receive work orders into inventory using SAP system; identify any open requirements and move materials to proper location within the Warehouse.

Additional responsibilities involve pulling product from inventory (pulling materials for manufacturing processes and shipments and creating work order inventory transactions using SAP system); interpret system generated reports related to department’s functions; support Company goals of the continuous improvement of quality, safety and reduction in operational costs and lead times; perform and assist in various departmental maintenance functions; perform clerical functions as needed.

Job Requirements


High School / GED education preferred, but equivalent work experience & knowledge acceptable; proficient in computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, an ERP system (SAP); familiarity with Warehouse operational functions; skilled in carpentry, basic boxing, bracing, assembly, familiar with standard shipping practices, and eager to learn.


Position requires ability to work in manufacturing plants with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, heavy duty magnets, welding machines, and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Candidate required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, maneuver within tight spaces, climb on machinery, and routinely lift up to of 50 lbs., needs to be able to work 10 hour shifts on concrete floors and can do demainding physical labor with little otn o supervision ~  with our without accommodations. Must be able to exercise independent judgment, especially in determining the best method of distribution, pay attention to detail, possess excellent mobility, solid visual acuity, good hearing, touch, coordination, balance, and manual dexterity. Position requires ability to endure long hours and work to the highest standards of safety, quality, 5S housekeeping at all times, as well as wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
