Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:. Manage and lead Territory sales team in USA including coordination of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service efforts for all existing and new FB Markets in the USA. Sales budgeting and setting/achieving team/country targets.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Responsibilities include but are not limited to): Provide Manage, lead and build Territory Manager sales team in USA. Sales Budgeting and forecasting. Ensure all FB capital/services are being promoted by sales team. Can act as key account manager/responsible person for engineering/contractor companies and large green field projects allowing Territory Managers to focus on customer base and brownfield opportunities. Close cooperation with product managers in facilitating market area feedback and setting priorities. Along with Regional Manager and Product Managers – setting sales targets. Coordinate, develop, and maintain Capital order “hotlist” covering outstanding proposals as well as utilize the Andritz CRM program; develop and lead Sales presentations and manage negotiations; work with Regional and Product Managers as well as Marketing Manager to develop a marketing plan to include trade shows, association meetings, advertising, literature, and product development. Direct interface with Customer Account Corporate offices, Engineering offices, and Mill Managers as well as developing and leading Sales presentations and managing negotiations. Also includes negotiate terms and conditions of sales with customers that meet Andritz requirements; develop key account strategies to assure competitive position and maximize order intake; monitor industry and competitive trends; interface with order execution and Engineering personnel for transfer of new equipment orders; responsible for sales/equipment presentations at association/trade venues; regard confidentiality a must. Perform special projects and other duties as required by Management Staff. Up to and at times exceeding 50% travel required.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Ag, Feed Science, Wood Processing or equivalent combination of related discipline with minimum of 5 years’ experience in Feed or Wood Mill markets. Technical Degree preferred. Experience managing and building sales teams. General willingness to continuously learn and improve; ability to think logically and methodically in order to apply problem-solving strategies; knowledge of the Andritz organization and procedures; must be computer literate using Microsoft Office package, as well as familiarity with other office suites / databases; excellent knowledge of the English language and grammar; knowledge of the Andritz organization and procedures, and regard confidentiality at all times. This position requires well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in time sensitive environments. The ability to communicate effectively, at all levels, both verbally and in writing is essential. Other requirements include: Represent Company interests when dealing with customers; possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment; must be self-motivated, make independent decisions, be versatile, flexible, be sensitive to customer satisfaction (includes understanding customers’ needs and possess a strong sense of urgency); maintain a high degree of accuracy, work with little to no supervision, and be able to learn and retain multiple skills and tasks; have a cooperative attitude to interface with all levels and departments inside / outside of the Company; must be able to manage and manipulate a large volume of information for several managers; handle all types of internal and external calls and correspondence.

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: As a remote worker in a home office and/or occasional visits to a Company office and/or frequent visits to customers requires the capability of working in a mill environment with exposure to varying noise levels and temperatures, dust, dirt, varying temperatures and noise levels, heavy duty magnets, welding machines, and manual & remote controlled devices using radio signals, and exposure to fumes. You must be able to continually lift at least 25 lbs., climb on machines and maneuver within confined spaces without impacting safety of self or others; capable and willing to travel by private & public transportation to job site locations worldwide and endure long working hours when required; must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, ascend / descend stairways, climb ladders; requires visual acuity for purpose of evaluating equipment, drawings, reports, and wear the required PPE.
