Job Description

THE ANDRITZ GROUP is a globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for hydropower stations, the pulp and paper industry, the metalworking and steel industries, and solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial sectors. In addition, ANDRITZ offers technologies for certain other sectors including automation, the production of animal feed and biomass pellets, pumps, machinery for nonwovens and plastic films, steam boiler plants, biomass boilers and gasification plants for energy generation, flue gas cleaning plants, plants for the production of panel boards (MDF), thermal sludge utilization, and biomass torrefaction plants.

ANDRITZ (PKP-Chemical Systems) is seeking a self-motivated, experienced process engineer to provide process engineering support for the Chemical Systems Product Group within PKP NA. This is an exempt position with annual bonus potential. This position will report to Alpharetta, GA.    

Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:

  •  Focus on safety and quality throughout all aspects of the position
  • Customer interface for process audits focused on problem resolution and product sales including prompt, detailed trip reports and follow-up
  • Process engineering support for field service and project management with data analytics,diagnostics, quote preparation and follow-up

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
  • White Liquor Plant experience is not a must but preferred
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organization skills. The ability to communicate effectively on various levels, verbal and written is essential
  • Must be able to work independently and within a group
  • Some travel is required for this position
