Job Description

Provide automation and control engineering support and on-site installation and start-up support for system upgrades and dewatering process equipment control systems.

Provide support for other departments and engineering groups assigned to execute awarded projects.

Travel for on-site installation and start-up of provided upgrades.

•         Assist Service Product Specialist in the support of Service Sales Team efforts for automation and control system upgrades or replacement for dewatering and thickening process equipment.

•         Review existing control systems and develop preliminary design recommendations.

•         Travel for site installations, functional testing and start-up.

•         Assist in developing packaged control upgrade solutions.

•         Phone support for customers.

Job Requirements

•         Zero to two years experience in industrial type process automation and control equipment and components, PLC systems, HMI units, Rotating equipment drive systems, instrumentation and control components.

•         Proficiency in the following software applications:

o   MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat

o   Rockwell PLC and HMI programming software

o   Industrial communication networks, Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc…

o   Industrial PLC / HMI / VFD products and programming software

•         Familiarity with the following applications a plus but not mandatory:

AutoCAD,

•         Designing and implementing custom control systems for dewatering / thickening process equipment.

•         Good troubleshooting skills for automation and control systems.

•         Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

•         Up to 40% travel required in North America. Passport required.

•         Proven ability to work well with fellow employees, vendors, and customers at all levels.
