Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of the project (s), execution team, timeline, costs, schedule, quality, and project claims management process.

  • Project representative vis-a-vis the client, the internal expert engineer and various partners;
  • Preparation of the execution schedule and distribution of work within our team (engineers, technicians);
  • Prepares the launch, follow-up and end-of project meetings;
  • Responsible for claim management, risk management an crisis management related to the project;
  • Responsible for the integrated control of each project under his responsibility (progress, schedule and cost monitoring);
  • Participates in determining the best procurement strategy ;
  • Manages quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) issues in collaborations with the QHSE department;
  • Some travel is required, mainly within Canada.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English;
  • Pragmatic, customer-oriented and flexible;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit;
  • Comfortable with the financial aspects of managing a project;
  • Experience in claims management related to a project;
  • Experience in managing subcontractors, product supply and quality assurance;
  • Familiar with legal and commercial clauses of contracts;
  • Good knowledge of MS project, Power Pointe, Excel, Word.
