Job Description


Reporting to the Sales Manager USA of Andritz Feed and Biofuel, you will coordinate the Andritz sales efforts in your territory (Texas, New Mexico & Arizona,– subject to change depending on market conditions) for all Andritz FB Aftermarket (Parts & Consumables), ANBO offerings and Andritz Capital Equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Responsibilities include but are not limited to):

Develop, cultivate, track, report, manage, and pursue sales efforts in the Andritz Aftermarket & Capital offerings as well as the ANBO offering; provide administrative and market information regarding the territory to the ,USA Sales, Aftermarket, and General Sales Managers for reporting needs; follow up on all new leads in territory as well as sales proposals and document both in CRM program. Develop and maintain Capital order “hotlist” covering outstanding proposals as well as utilize the Andritz CRM program requirements for the assigned territory to include utilization and reporting input regarding customers and/or opportunities and installed base in Territory into CRM; monitor industry and competitive trends; have continual interface with Andritz FB customers in Territory; provide technical advice to customers regarding Andritz equipment, parts and consumables; coordinate application equipment sizing and proposal process, and direct customer follow-up in cooperation with the USA Sales Manager and the Muncy office; define and set yearly sales targets and budgets for the assigned Territory; negotiate terms and conditions of sales with customers that meet Andritz requirements; develop key account strategies to assure competitive position and maximize order intake; interface with order execution and Engineering personnel for information transfer of new orders; responsible for attending and presentations at applicable trade venues. This position requires approximately 60% to 70% travel; perform special projects and other duties as required, by Management Staff. Regarding confidentiality is a must.


Job Requirements


Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Ag or Feed Science, or equivalent combination of a related discipline and experience; previous sales experience in Pet Food, Animal Feed and/or Biofuel Industries a must. Also must be currently located in Texas and have experience working from a home office with extensive travel. Must have a general willingness to continuously learn and improve; ability to think logically and methodically in order to apply problem-solving must be computer literate using Microsoft Office package, as well as familiarity with other office suites/databases to include competency to use CRM program(s), and Concur (to book travel and complete expense reports on a timely basis); excellent knowledge of the English language and grammar; knowledge of the Andritz organization and procedures (helpful), and regard confidentiality at all times.

This position requires well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work and cope under pressure in time sensitive environments with multiple priorities. The ability to communicate effectively, at all levels, both verbally and in writing is essential. Other requirements include: Represent Company interests when dealing with customers; possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment; must be self-motivated, make independent decisions, be versatile, flexible, be sensitive to customer satisfaction which includes understanding customers’ needs and possess a strong sense of urgency; maintain a high degree of accuracy, work with little to no supervision, and be able to learn and retain multiple skills and tasks; have a cooperative attitude to interface with all levels and departments inside / outside of the Company; must be able to manage and manipulate a large volume of information for several managers; handle all types of internal and external calls and correspondence.


As a remote worker in a home office and/or occasional visits to a Company office and/or frequent visits to customers requires the capability of working in a mill environment with exposure to varying noise levels and temperatures, dust, dirt, varying temperatures and noise levels, heavy duty magnets, welding machines, and manual & remote controlled devices using radio signals, and exposure to fumes. You must be able to continually lift at least 25 lbs., climb on machines and maneuver within confined spaces without impacting safety of self or others; capable and willing to travel by private & public transportation to job site locations and endure long working hours when required; must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, ascend / descend stairways, climb ladders; requires visual acuity for purpose of evaluating equipment, drawings, reports. Must be able to wear the required PPE.
